Module 6h: Safe but not Scared
Faith and science correlate more than we realise. We explore the two together and how we can learn from both teachings. Faith explains WHY things came into being, and science explains HOW. As a result, the two have a perfect link. You don’t have to choose between faith and science. Thus, we can teach Genesis and the Big Bang in the same lesson.
This module lets students explore the relationship between Faith and Science. In the end, students will know how to identify that relationship. They will understand how reason helps us discern the truth in religion and science. They will also see how Genesis explains the WHY, and the Big Bang gives us the HOW. The module emphasises the beauty of science and religion and how they enrich us.
