RSE and RSHE programme developed with key religious figures from across the world

Supported and influenced by several Bishops from different nations, A Fertile Heart is an easy-to-follow educational RSE and RSHE programme designed for children aged 4 to 16, it can be accessed in digital form for homeschooling or utilised as a printed resource in the classroom.

It has evolved over several years due to the investment of time and generous resources from a group of faith-filled Catholics consisting of parents, teachers and priests who are totally dedicated to encouraging children to aspire to a fruitful way of living.

Providing children with direction toward a faithful way of living

In today’s confusing and fragmented society, we believe it is more urgent than ever to help bring children to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. A Fertile Heart is particularly effective in helping to develop formation in faith and reason. It assists children at various stages in their understanding and appreciation of the importance of their union with God through loving, respectful relationships.

Why A Fertile Heart is needed now more than ever

Put simply, we are passionate about transmitting the beautiful truths of Faith to the next generation and believe everyone has a right to an education that is fully Christocentric.

Along with many parents and educators, we take the warning of The Pope about the dangers of ‘ideological colonisation’ very seriously, and therefore, we believe that A Fertile Heart is not just an antidote to toxic influences in contemporary culture, but it has a significant role to play in providing a practical solution.

Understanding the pressures on teachers

We understand and fully appreciate the increasing pressures upon teachers and how precious your preparation time is. That is why A Fertile Heart is designed to ease the burden of lesson planning by providing you with an uncomplicated user-friendly format to deliver the modules. You don’t have to be an expert. You simply bring your expertise as an educator to journey with the pupils to achieve a fresh understanding of sensitive issues around relationships, love and sexuality.

A Fertile Heart is a beautifully crafted process that is methodical and incremental. We invite you to trust the process and be open to a collaborative teaching/learning experience that will stretch and challenge but reward and engage.

Addressing parents’ anxiety

We know just how much parents and carers want and expect the best for their children. We also appreciate that for many, there is a degree of anxiety about what their children may or may not receive at school and outside of the home in respect of information about sex and sexuality.

We assume you care deeply about the Christian formation of your child. We want to assure you that A Fertile Heart is a comprehensive programme of study and learning completely inspired by authentic Christian values that not only offer schools a credible alternative to so many resources that are antithetical to your values but can also be used by you with your child in the home.
